Took my Volvo in for what I thought would be a simple fix. I relayed to them what I thought was the issue and they ran their diagnostic, I noticed they had checked what I said first. (Big green flag) I’ve never been to a shop that actually listens to me as a customer. They ended up finding other issues I hadn’t known of but it was still very reasonably priced for all the work they had done. I had even asked about another job but they were honest that it wasn’t urgent. (Another big green flag) I’ve also never been to a shop where they weren’t trying to push more work just to squeeze more money out of me. I can’t recommend these guys enough! Super awesome, super honest, and super quick. Had to bake em cookies to show appreciation lol. I will most definitely be back!! ~ Sky J

Nick (the owner I think) is a real professional -- my van's alternator was on fire on the highway and he said they could take it in the next day. Within an hour of looking at it they laid out exactly what problems there were, the standard pricing of each issue, and how the problems came to be in the first place. I was fully expecting to have to leave my car at some shop for weeks, but I dropped it off at 11 AM and had it back by 7 PM the same day. My general anxiety of going to get any service done is that you just don't know how much, why, or what's happening with the thing you came in for. Top Level showed complete mastery of how to address all those concerns any consumer might have and everyone should really consider going to these guys for whatever is going on. My daughter’s car was garaged for a semester and she was coming home the next day and so I wanted to make sure her car was working. So on my ONLY day off I changed her oil and the battery. But when I test drove the car, I could hear the pad sensor rubbing against the rotor. OMG, I called around and no one could take me. But, I found TopLevel Cars on Yelp and Nick was super nice and helpful and despite having already a full shop he was so kind to accommodate me and changed my pads; keep in mind, I brought my own pads because I was supposed to change myself but my friend had borrowed all my tools. First time going here and had an actual and genuine experience with the staff. Already being a mechanic myself I had to throw in the towel because a part I needed replacing was impossible for me to take out but they took it out with ease. I was even able to get the estimate over the phone without me having to bring in my car and having them look at it and then having to make an appointment afterwards like most mechanics do. I really appreciated the honesty and the willingness to give me suggestions and even show me the state of how my transmission oil was looking. I replaced it the week prior but come to find out it was in a poor state and thanks to the staff I now know that needs replacing again. Again I really do appreciate the service and honesty that they gave out and in the future while I'm still on island wll keep going to them when ever I have trouble. ~ Eric M

Found these guys randomly on Google Maps when I really needed help. I started hearing a loud noise every time I hit a bump, and it turned out part of the suspension was almost coming off. It was one of those situations where you realize you can’t keep driving like that and need to fix it ASAP. They quickly found the problem, explained everything in simple terms, and took care of it right away. Great experience. I brought my Prius in for a diagnostic on a dash board error light. Plus I knew that the rear bearings needed to be replaced. Their attentive behavior was immediate as I scheduled my Monday morning shop visit and the owner responded on a Sunday to schedule. Even though there was a diagnostic fee the amount was applied to the repair. In and out in the time committed on the estimate. Clean, very clean facilities from to the waiting room and throughout the shop. I will continue to use them for future Maintinance and repair’s. ~ Robert G

First impressions: EXCELLENT! We have a Mercedes ML430 that needs some work on. Nick responded immediately and gave us a fair price, the best one we could find on the island. After checking, he recommended only one of the four repairs that others pushed for, and even that with no hurry whatsoever. In fact we felt so well treated by him that we didn’t mind doing his recommended work on our first visit, because we want the good service at TopLevel Cars recognized and paid for. My experience was pleasant. Nick greeted me outside and showed what they would be replacing on my car. Eventhough, the parts weren't ordered to do the repair he apologized and said he would take care of it and rescheduled. The person who did the work was friendly and showed me the part the was replaced. There was miscommunication on the price but it was handled promptly and professionally. I have a three month warranty but I pray that I never have to return in the nearest future. But if I do, I will return and recommend their service. ~ S. H

When it comes down to auto repair, there’s a lot of choices out there, but really it comes down to convenience and reliability. Some guys charge less some guys charge more these guys are in the mid range for hourly rate. But they work with you and it’s easy to communicate. I will definitely be bringing more vehicles over here to get repaired. It’s always a piece of mind, knowing that your stuff will get done on time and ready to go. Top Level Cars really came through for me today! My car was acting up so I sent a quote request through Yelp and got a response really quick. They had an appointment today so I went in. Very honest guys. Nick was extremely helpful at the shop, and communicated everything to me about my car. They were able to get me in and out the same day at a very affordable rate. This review is a little dated. I first used TopLevel Cars in January 2024, a few months after their opening. My truck’s alternator was dead, and these guys got it fixed for a very fair price. I contacted them through Yelp, and Nick replied almost immediately. We set up an appointment and his crew got my truck fixed within a day. I appreciated the fair pricing and how Nick mentioned things that might need repair in the future, but was very honest about how urgent these repairs were; he didn’t try to pressure or con me into getting it fixed immediately. That honestly alone is 5-stars. Then earlier this year my van’s air conditioning went dead, and once again, Nick and his team got it running perfectly, and it’s been perfect ever since. My old original review for TopLevel Cars is still on Yelp, but I wanted to give my props here to Nick and TopLevel Cars. I don’t even hesitate to call these guys when my car acts stupid, because their honesty, fair prices, and quality work is hard to find these days in an auto repair business. We have an oversized Mercedes Sprinter and needed an alignment on a tight schedule. I called around to a bunch of shops and either got no answer or couldn’t get an appointment — but Top Level Cars picked up right away and got me in, no problem. I’m so happy I found Top Level Cars through Yelp. He exceeded my expectations. Before finding them, I had taken my car to a different auto shop to help fix my tire sensor issues since the light came on and they thought they fixed the problem until a day later my light came on again. That’s when Top Level Cars found the problem and completed the job by changing the module and all 4 tire sensors. Thank you for the amazing and fast service. I don’t trust people with my Mustang GT but was fortunate enough to be reccomended TopLevel Cars by a close friend. Phenomenal service, this place employs real experts who diagnosed some minor issues with my car that were overlooked by other mechanics. Droppd my car off on a weekday and picked it up the next day and was provided a rental. Prices were extremely reasonable. The shop is clean and well cared for which is rare in Oahu. This is the best car service on the island with the best service and a great team. I went in for scheduled maintenance and everything was done quickly and efficiently. Prices are lower than other auto repair shops I've been to. While waiting for my car to be repaired, I spent time comfortably in the waiting room, drinking coffee and watching YouTube. Found these guys online. Ended up taking my Grand caravan there. The price they quoted me was what they charged me. Did the job quickly and communicated well. Based on first impressions, I would say these guys are trustworthy and worth giving them a chance for any work you might have on a vehicle. Not the easiest place to find the first time. Parking is a challenge. So just be aware of that before you go. ~ Matthew W
